• Remain quiet through entire performance. A lot of people talking quietly is still loud, especially to the students on stage.
• Please find a place to sit in the auditorium and stay seated during the performances. There will be an intermission giving you opportunity to stretch your legs and talk to friends. Please do not stand in the back of the auditorium during performances. It generally encourages conversation that can be heard on stage and by other audience members.
• Applaud at the end of pieces only (except for jazz band pieces, you may applaud at the conclusion of individual solos). Please do not applaud in between movements of a larger piece of music.
• Refrain from making extra noises such as unwrapping candy and/or lozenges.
• Though we encourage you to bring your entire family to the event, please make sure children remain seated and quiet. Noisy children should be taken into the lobby.
• Enter and leave the auditorium in between compositions, it is disruptive to both audience members and performers to have a lot of commotion during performance time. If you are late getting into the auditorium, please wait in the lobby until the piece being played is concluded, then enter the seating area and take a seat.

The performing band members will appreciate your good manners.
