School Closing Procedures
Severe Weather Closing
Policy
The district will use the Connect-Ed system to call all parents when schools
are closed due to severe weather, road conditions or building mechanical
problems. It is important that every student has a working telephone number
on file at the school office. Please be sure your school secretary has
a working phone number at all times. In addition we will continue to notify
local radio and television stations concerning school closings or transportation
delays. You may continue to monitor local media outlets throughout the
school day when threatening weather approaches. If the announcement states
that buses will run on MAIN ROADS ONLY, students living on gravel roads
will not be picked up.
